Bring your questions about agents, auditions, demos, marketing, industry expectations, career development, and anything else you've been trying to figure out. Heather will share honest insights from the agent side of the business and help separate industry fact from fiction. Heather Dame is currently the EVP of Atlas LA and heads up Atlas' west coast branch. She was tasked by Atlas to move out to Los Angeles 15 years ago to help develop and start up the new West Coast branch of the company. This included building the foundation of a positive public brand for the company by developing new relationships and engaging clients and buyers in the company philosophy, building new buyer relationships, growing and pitching new areas of business and carefully crafting a successful talent roster to invest in. Heather built Atlas' Animation and Games department from the ground up, as well as mentored and partnered with other agents in developing the Los Angeles commercial, video game and promo/narration/trailer departments. Fourteen years and four office expansions later, Atlas LA has 10 full-time Los Angeles employees, four full-time agents and competes with the top LA Voice-over agencies. Heather heads up the animation department and also works as an agent in the areas of promos, trailers, narrations and video games, in addition to managing the LA staff and office. She is proud to say that many of her past assistants have gone on to have very successful careers in entertainment. She is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion, and over the past few years, has been spearheading an effort to discover and develop underrepresented talent and help them create and sustain long-term careers in Voiceover. She believes in making a difference wherever she can and conducting business genuinely and always with integrity.

Jo will walk through how to approach agent meetings from the talent side: how to talk about yourself and your work, how to communicate your goals clearly, and how to understand what agents are listening for when assessing readiness and long-term fit. Joining the session is Ferenc Laczko, a major national agent at SBV Talent, one of the most respected voiceover agencies in Los Angeles. Ferenc brings direct insight from the representation side, what agents look for in meetings, common misconceptions talent bring into the room, and what distinguishes actors who are easy to work with over time. This is not a “how to get signed” workshop. It’s a grounded look at representation as a working relationship, and what professionalism actually looks like when opportunity shows up.

REAPER WITHOUT FRICTION Performance-First Workflow · Engineer-Ready Sessions This workshop is about building a Reaper setup that supports performance instead of competing with it. Led by Forger Jamey Lewis, the session focuses on creating a fast, reliable, and repeatable workflow that holds up under real deadlines. The emphasis is on eliminating friction so your attention stays on the read. Joining the session is Kory Orris, former in-house engineer at Nickelodeon, whose work spans flagship series including The Loud House, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, Monster High, and The Fairly OddParents. Kody brings perspective from inside major network animation production. He’s been the engineer in the room, managing mic setup, recording sessions, working directly with directors and talent, and pulling selects for broadcast-ready delivery. This session bridges the gap between home workflow and real network production expectations, not from theory, but from someone who has run those sessions.
