In this remote program, you’ll learn how to shape performance, hold emotional arcs, and build trust in the booth.

 

We’ll teach you how to listen, respond, and guide, with intention and respect, and earn a professional credit doing it.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Directors Lab is a fully remote 8-week, hands-on training program for creatives ready to work behind the glass.

You’ll learn how to prep scripts, collaborate with actors, shape vocal performance, and manage session flow, with tools that voice directors use every day.

​

Then you’ll apply it all in your final project, where you'll direct a professionally produced piece, guide real actors through a recording session, and graduate with a credit you can showcase on IMDb, LinkedIn, or your portfolio.

TUITION & CREDIT INFO

This isn’t just a workshop, it’s professional-level training for emerging voice directors.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll learn how to prep scripts, guide actors in live sessions, and shape performance across animation, games, dubbing, and audio content. You’ll finish with a complete directing assignment and a verified directing credit listed on IMDb, and that you can list on LinkedIn, and your portfolio/resume.

Credits are awarded upon full participation and submission of all required deliverables. Full terms will be available in our Student Agreement.

Final certification is awarded only to students who demonstrate professional-level work throughout the process and in their final presentation.
