This workshop focuses on building a home studio that aligns with real professional recording environments — regardless of which DAW you use.

Led by Forger Dee Alvis, this session breaks down signal chain fundamentals, mic placement, gain staging, session prep, and recording habits that translate into clean, reliable takes under real production pressure. The focus is not on software loyalty. It’s on fundamentals that hold up in working animation and ADR rooms.

Dee’s work spans both animation and games, including projects like Hero Inside (an internationally successful animated series), the Netflix film Switched Up, and major game titles such as Zenless Zone Zero and The Elder Scrolls.

Joining the session are Carlos Sotolongo and Chris Cirino from the LA Studios, a historic Los Angeles recording facility that has been at the center of animation and ADR production for decades.
