Script Analysis & the Art of the Audition with Tyler Chapman

A few lines. Barely any context. Somehow, you’re supposed to bring a whole character to life.

So where do you start?

Join Tyler, who built and led Netflix’s Adult Animation Casting department, with credits including Inside Job, Blue Eye Samurai, and Carol & The End of the World, for a hands-on workshop on finding the performance within the page.

Explore how to read beyond the dialogue: what your character wants, who they’re talking to, what’s happening between them, and which details should shape your choices. When information is limited, learn how to use what’s there to build a specific, believable performance.
